How do I obtain a cart?
Will there be an increase in cost to me as a resident or to the City?
No, CWS will provide carts at no additional cost to the residents or the City.
What is the size of the 65 gallon roll cart?
39” height x 25” wide x 31” deep
Can I get a smaller roll cart?
The 65 gallon roll cart is the only size available.
Can I continue using my current recycle bin?
Yes. You are not required to use the 65 gallon cart.
If I use the 65 gallon cart, what can I do with my smaller bin?
Your current 18 gallon bin is yours to keep or you may drop it off at the Roswell Recycling Center located at 11570 Maxwell Road.
Does my recycling have to fit inside my cart?
All loose recyclables must be place in cart. Cardboard boxes can be broken down and placed beside cart for recycling.
Should I put recyclables into bags in the 65 gallon cart?
Do not place your recyclables into bags before placing them in the cart.
Can I get more than one roll cart?
One 65 gallon cart is issued per household.
When will my recyclables be collected?
Recyclables are collected weekly, on the same day as trash collection.
What can be recycled in the carts?
The same items that you currently put in your bins. Click here and you will go to the recycling guide.
Can I put grass clippings and tree limbs into my recycling cart?
No, grass clippings, tree limbs, shrubbery and brush are considered yard waste and should not be placed into the recycling cart.
